This has been moved to the ECP, but this means granting a user access to the ECP console. after some reasearch I found this cool article explaining a lot how it works I used methode #1 in Active Directory to add "managed by" attribute.  After that I used his steps to Create a new “Manage-MyDGs” role from an existing role Remove any commands that allow actions other than updating existing groups Create a new role group and assign it our new role Change the write scope of [...]

Microsoft Exchange 2016 – event 9646 – MSExchangeIS

By |2016-10-26T12:43:00+01:00September 22nd, 2016|Exchange, Microsoft|

During a migration from domino to exchange i have run into following error. Mapi session /o=mydomein/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipients/cn=f47163f497bb4c02b5b43d861bb35136-Admin Dell Mig with client type MoMT exceeded the maximum of 32 objects of type Session. Default there are some limits to how many sessions one user can have or even how many objects one user can open (i think it was 500 per user session) to solve this you have to edit the registery on your exchange server this worked for exchange 2016 adding the "Maximum Allowed Sessions Per User" solved the problem of the migration user to have more then [...]

The error was: SMTPSEND.DNS.NonExistentDomain; nonexistent domain after checking everything from connectors and exchange settings, I started to check just everything, and the first steps i always do is: are the TCP/ip config correct on your network card(s). turns out the DNS 2 entry was set to external dns once you remove this DNS entry and only use the internal DNS server everything [...]
